Approx Age: 9 months
Bonnie is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross with a huge heart packed into a tiny, wiggly body. At almost 9 months old, she’s still very much a baby and is only just beginning her journey toward the happy, secure life she deserves.
Rescued from Wolverhampton in England, Bonnie had a poor start in life. She arrived very underweight, with her sweet face covered in scratches, but she’s now safe and slowly gaining strength with careful support. Despite everything she’s been through, Bonnie’s spirit shines through in the most wonderful way.
She is a happy, joyful pup with a constantly wagging tail—one that could genuinely double as a weapon! Bonnie is incredibly clean in the house and shows just how clever she is through her love of enrichment activities like snuffle mats and puzzle toys. Eager to please and quick to learn, she picks up her training exceptionally fast and genuinely enjoys engaging her brain.
Bonnie currently has low to moderate exercise needs, which are gradually being built up. She’s perfectly content with short walks, garden zoomies, and a quick game of fetch before happily settling down for a nap in her crate. She can be left for a couple of hours in a puppy-proof room and travels beautifully in the car, making her ready to start enjoying adventures with her future family.
With her joyful personality, intelligence, and endearing little quirks, Bonnie is the kind of dog who will bring equal parts joy and chaos—with a huge zest for life—into her forever home. She’s a special girl looking for someone to give her the love, guidance, and security she’s missed out on so far.
Bonnie is currently in a foster home and is doing very well. She will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites and assessed. Given her age she will be rehomed with a neutering contract. Her adoption donation is £400 which goes directly to helping save the lives of dogs just like her.
