Meet Daisy
Daisy is a beautiful 5-year-old Black Labrador weighing 23kg who is looking for a loving new home.
Daisy arrived in Islay alongside her companions, Junior and Blossom, following a change in their owners' circumstances. Despite this upheaval, she has remained a happy, affectionate, and fun-loving girl.
She loves playing with Junior and Blossom and enjoys spending time with people, always seeking out cuddles and affection. Daisy is a friendly, affectionate girl who thrives on companionship and is sure to make a wonderful addition to the right family.
Daisy has previously lived with a cat and could do so again, provided introductions are carried out carefully and at a suitable pace. She has also lived happily with other dogs, so we believe she could share her new home with a compatible canine companion following sensible introductions.
She can walk well on the lead, although she can become playful and excitable when out with her siblings, sometimes forgetting her lead manners and pulling. Her new family should be prepared to continue her training and help her build on the good foundations she already has.
Like most Labradors, Daisy is highly food-motivated, making treats an excellent training aid. As Labradors can be prone to weight gain, her adopters will need to ensure she enjoys a balanced diet and regular exercise to help keep her fit and healthy.
We feel Daisy would be best suited to a home with dog-savvy children aged 12 years and over who can understand and respect her needs.
With a little time to settle into her new home, Daisy is sure to become a loyal, loving, and devoted companion who will bring endless joy to her new family.
She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for parasites. Her adopter will be required to sign a neutering agreement.
Her adoption fee is £400, which helps rescue other dogs in need.
Could you offer Daisy the loving, forever home he is looking for?
