Puma has been on foster with Frank, one of our volunteers. He reports that Puma is the perfect house guest and goes to the back door when he wants out to toilet!! He is calm and loving though can be nervous with quick movements or sudden noises. Although he travels well in the car he is not confident to jump in and out on his own yet.
He has seen cats and small dogs and not demonstrated any adverse reaction. However, he is an ex-racing greyhound and as such, precaution is advised.

Hound lovers pay attention!!
Please meet the stunning Puma who is an ex-racing greyhound.
He is 4 years old and is looking for a new home. He is great with other dogs and walks like a dream on the lead. Like all greyhounds he is happy with a couple of short walks daily and access to a comfy bed for the rest of the time!
Given that he is an ex-racing greyhound we would not consider rehoming him where there are cats, small dogs or small furries in the house. We would recommend that any ex-racing greyhound is walked wearing a muzzle to prevent any incidents where their high prey drive can kick in!
He is a large dog but as gentle and loving as they come. He would be able to share his home with another dog(s) and would suit a less active household.
His adoption donation is £250 which goes directly to saving other dogs just like him.
