 Meet Rocky

Rocky is a 2-year-old, neutered Staffordshire Bull Terrier who finds himself in rescue through no fault of his own, having been handed in due to his owner’s ill health. This change has been a big upheaval for him, and at the moment he is feeling quite worried by his surroundings.

Despite this, Rocky is a truly lovely boy at heart — affectionate, sweet, and loving with people he knows and trusts. He will happily go for walks with familiar staff members, but he is currently not confident walking with strangers and needs time to build trust at his own pace.

Rocky is reportedly house trained and has shown positive signs around other dogs. He has walked alongside another dog without incident and even showed a little friendly interest, suggesting he may enjoy calm canine company in the future.

Rocky is now ready for adoption yet and is available to meet prospective adopters who are willing to take things slowly. He will need several meet-and-greets to help him feel safe and secure, and he’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to decompress and regain his confidence.

Rocky truly deserves another chance at life — with the right people, his gentle and loving nature will shine through.

He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, neutered and is undergoing assessment at the moment.

His adoption donation will be £400 which goes directly to helping save the lives of dogs just like him.
