Toffee is just as gorgeous as his name sounds. He is a 5 year old crossbreed from Romania.
Toffee was found abandoned and starving in a kill shelter in Lancram, Romania. He was saved from there and placed in foster with a nice lady in a very rural situation where he spent several months awaiting his chance to come to Scotland to find a forever home.
During that time he bonded very well with his foster carer and she was upset to see him leave. Since he has been here we have discovered that Toffee doesn't really trust many men and will growl if they approach him when he is uncertain. With other men he is all over them like rash!!
We would say no to a household with children. This is because Toffee has shown us that he can become uncomfortable at times therefore we would rather not put children in an uncertain position or have Toffee stressed.
He has settled well at the kennels and loves his walk. He particularly adores Candice (one of our workers) and turns into a complete smushy pup when she is around. He is not phased by other dogs and ignores the cat.
His perfect home would be with a single female or a couple who live a quiet life. He would not be comfortable with heavy traffic through the house.
He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, neutered and his assessment is ongoing.
His adoption donation is £400 which goes directly to saving the lives of dogs just like him.
