If you need a dog who doesn't want or need long walks then Izzie (or Duke) is the dog for you.
Flying Izzie is a 5 year old, registered, racing greyhound - retired after 141 races!! Which by any account is a lot of racing!! She is a typical greyhound - lazy, affectionate but with HUGE prey drive.
She is good with other dogs (not toy sized dogs) but could not live with cats or other small furries. Any potential adopter is advised to use a muzze when walking/exercising Izzie. This is not because she is a nasty dog - in fact, nothing could be further from the truth - but it is to ensure the safety of small dogs/cats/squirrels etc. Given she is a trained racer than it must be accepted that she has an exceptional high prey drive.
Izzie travels really well in the car and loves to go for a short walk. Realistically, three 20 minute walks each day would suit Izzie to the ground.
She is fully vaccinated, spayed, treated for parasites, had any dental work required completed, microchipped and assessed. If you are interested in adopting Izzie please complete the adoption form below.
